All of our 2020 Gardening Workshops will be online until further notice. Our goal is to enable as many gardeners as possible to grow food successfully in our region. All facilitators are experienced gardeners who have teaching experiences and understand growing conditions in our region.

Importance of the topic
Interested in gardening but don’t know where to start? This workshop is great for any gardener wishing to brush up on their gardening theory before the season. Whether you have never gardened before or hoping to boost your confidence in your abilities, you are sure to learn something at this workshop.

Meet the Facilitator
Elaine Cooper (known in some circles as Gramma Green Thumbs) is a wellness & gardening educator author and speaker who will get you excited about growing, preparing and loving ‘real food’. She is the founder of GET UP & GROW! ON POUSSE!

What will the workshop cover?
This workshop is great for any gardener wishing to brush up on their gardening know-how before the season. It focuses on growing a variety of common vegetables in various settings - your living room, small space and yards – without the use of pesticides or herbicides.



How will the workshop be structured?
This interactive online webinar will begin with a “classroom session” with lots of pictures, followed by a demonstration and Q&A with the instructor. *Note that there will be a chat feature which you will be able to use to ask questions during the workshop!
